Mothering Sunday saw a Very Busy day at the OKLR, a Full Mechanical examination of Altonia was carried out ( which involved shunting the whole yard to get her over the Pit), Elouise was prepared for her Steam test, The Mainline points were relayed in a day. And we ran a train service!!!

It is with great pride the OKLR can announce the Purchase of 920 Pamela Quarry Hunslet, Pamela has been on site at the OKLR since 1984 but in private ownership. Now the society has secured the Loco a full assessment of what is required has commenced and Restoration will begin as soon as possible.
