Heavy snow and ice bring travel chaos across UK

But not on the OKLR, we managed to Run a full Santa Special Service.
With the great help of the volunteers who battled the conditions,we started clearing the Yard and defrosting the points, this was a bit of a losing battle as soon as we had cleared one set and moved to another the first set were covered again!
A lot of time was also spent trying to defrost the water tower!
With the Watercress Line & The Bluebell Railway unable to operate Due to Staff and weather issues, we were the only Steam Railway Operating in the South East!
